How Does the Process Work?
Washer assembly is performed before the thread rolling process.
First, the plain screw receives the washer(s) in the AS-10. The assembled part is then transferred to the thread rolling machine, where the thread is formed through cold plastic deformation. This process permanently retains the washers on the screw, producing the pre-assembled fastener known as a SEMS assembly.
This manufacturing sequence ensures excellent product quality and high production efficiency.
